Dr. Fattah is a Radiation Oncology resident at UT Southwestern. He earned his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, where he received the Dean’s Award for academic excellence. He completed his internship year at the University of Tennessee, where he was honored with the Best Resident Award by the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) as a PGY-1.
Dr. Fattah’s research focuses on cardiac radioablation. He completed a dedicated research fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he worked on integrating electroanatomic mapping into treatment planning. His project at UT Southwestern, "Optimizing Target Delineation and Motion Control in Cardiac Radioablation," was awarded the 2025 Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI) Innovation Award and accompanying research grant. He was also named the 2025 recipient of the James D. Cox Research Award, a distinction recognizing an outstanding resident researcher.
