Dr. Kiran Paskalice is a Clinical Fellow in Radiation Oncology at the Cross Cancer Institute, Edmonton, Alberta. She completed her MD in Radiation Oncology at the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, where she graduated with the 3rd rank under the Kerala University of Health Sciences. She also holds a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Radiation Oncology and has over five years of clinical experience, including roles in both public institutions and private oncology networks across India.
Dr. Paskalice’s career has focused on the comprehensive management of solid malignancies, with clinical interests in genitourinary, gynecologic, and thoracic cancers. She is involved in research related to radiation-induced toxicity, brachytherapy optimization, and marrow-sparing radiotherapy techniques. Her recent work includes a study on volumetric dose prescription in cervical cancer brachytherapy published in the International Journal of Gynecologic Cancer, and a forthcoming article on hypofractionated radiotherapy in prostate cancer.
She has received training in research ethics and Canadian GCP guidelines and is actively involved in multi-institutional research projects. Dr. Paskalice previously served as a Junior Consultant at Karkinos Healthcare, where she also contributed to institutional quality improvement efforts. Her long-term goals include advancing evidence-based, patient-centered care and contributing to innovations in global oncology.
