Kristin Ward, MD

Hello everyone! I am currently a PGY-3 in Radiation Oncology at the University of Virginia. I grew up in Houston, TX and completed medical school in El Paso, TX before moving to Charlottesville, VA in 2018.

One of my main research interests in Radiation Oncology involves optimizing patient outcomes and quality of life. In this study, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) experts at UVA to analyze outcomes and toxicity profiles in patients with brain metastases treated with frameless, fractionated SRS. My other research interests include women’s health as well as improving resident and medical student education.
