physician. He received his medical degree from the Hashemite University, Jordan, and subsequently completed his postgraduate training in Germany, specializing in Radiation Oncology at the University Hospital Münster.


Throughout his career in Germany, Dr. Samhouri held several leadership positions, including Deputy Chief Physician and later Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Märkische Kliniken Lüdenscheid. Since 2024, he has served as Assistant Professor and faculty member at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), and in 2025 he was appointed Director of the Saudi Center for Radiation Therapy at King Abdullah University Hospital.


Dr. Samhouri’s clinical and research interests focus on modern radiotherapy and multidisciplinary cancer care, with particular emphasis on thyroid, lung, brain, and pediatric malignancies. He has authored numerous scientific publications and actively contributes to international collaborations in oncology and radiation medicine.


He is a member of several professional societies, including the German Society for Radiation Oncology (DEGRO), the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO). In addition to his clinical and academic responsibilities, Dr. Samhouri is actively involved in medical education, health promotion initiatives, and the advancement of palliative and supportive cancer care.
