Dr. Laura Collie is a Radiation Oncologist at the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, where she specializes in genitourinary malignancies, head and neck cancers, and sarcomas. She completed her foundational education with a Bachelor of Science studying Biophysics at the University of Waterloo, followed by medical school at McMaster University. She completed her residency training at Queen's University, where she also served on the Cancer Quality Assurance Committee to enhance patient safety and clinical care standards. She subsequently completed a Clinical Fellowship at McMaster University, focusing on SBRT and GU malignancies. Her areas of clinical and research focus include advancing SBRT techniques in kidney cancers and palliative settings, as well as improving medical and residency education. She is also involved with a Regional Interdisciplinary Steering Committee dedicated to improving oncologic care for patients with bladder cancer in Southern Ontario.



She completed a fellowship in SBRT techniques at McMaster University. Her areas of clinical practice include GU malignancies, Head & Neck cancers, and Sarcomas. Her research interests include the use of SBRT for kidney cancers and in palliation of painful bone metastases. She is also very involved in medical education, including participating in medical student and resident education sessions and OSCEs.
