Lopamudra Nayak, PhD, is a Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she applies artificial intelligence, deep learning, and quantitative medical imaging to advance personalized radiotherapy. Her research focuses on longitudinal tumor response evaluation in head and neck cancer using AI-based deformable image registration and multimodal imaging biomarkers. She earned her PhD in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India, where her research focused on searches for rare lepton-flavor-violating decays using electron–positron collider data as part of the Belle II Collaboration at KEK, Japan.
Her work bridges physics, deep learning, machine learning, and medical imaging, with the goal of improving treatment response and personalized radiation therapy.
