Madeline Evans, BS

Madeline Evans is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine and plans to pursue residency training in radiation oncology. During medical school, she has participated in radiation oncology research across several disease sites, with projects focused on clinical outcomes, treatment delivery, and quality improvement. At ASTRO 2026, she is presenting three first-author projects examining online adaptive partial breast irradiation, simulation-free low-dose radiation therapy for osteoarthritis, and peer review in radiation oncology. She hopes to remain involved in clinical research throughout residency while continuing to develop her academic interests within the field.
