Mariam Atobiloye is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Utah School of Medicine applying to residency in radiation oncology this year. She completed her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Women's Studies at the University of Southern Mississippi. She was awarded the ASTRO Medical Student Fellowship, through which she explored health disparities in cancer care in the Intermountain West region of the United States. Originally from Nigeria, Mariam is committed to advancing equity in cancer care by strengthening preventive strategies, improving access to radiation therapy, and addressing global gaps in oncologic treatment.
