Marvin Kinz, MSc is a medical physics researcher and doctoral candidate at Heidelberg University, conducting his Ph.D. research as a fellow at Mass General Brigham, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Harvard Medical School. Following his Master of Science from Heidelberg, his doctoral work in Boston focuses on the intersection of advanced data science and clinical application, integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning into clinical radiotherapy workflows. In his current fellowship, he collaborates closely with clinical teams to translate these technical innovations into routine clinical practice. His research focuses on the precise treatment of tumors, with a specific emphasis on validating auto-contouring algorithms, implementing synthetic CT generation, and exploring novel modalities such as converging lens radiotherapy (CLRT). He leverages advanced computational techniques and deep learning to develop customized clinical workflows and statistical toolkits for radiotherapy data analysis. He has published multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts on these topics, driving the clinical implementation of AI and advanced imaging technologies in radiation oncology.
