Dr. Mateusz Bilski is a radiation oncologist and brachytherapist serving as Medical Director and Head of the Radiotherapy Department at Affidea Nu-Med Cancer Diagnostics and Therapy Center in Zamosc, Poland. He is also affiliated with the Department of Radiotherapy at the Medical University of Lublin. He graduated from the Medical University of Lublin, completed specialist training in radiation oncology in 2018, and obtained his PhD in medical sciences in 2023 for research on miR-200 family expression as a prognostic biomarker in WHO grade 2 and 3 brain gliomas. He is certified in Good Clinical Practice and has completed international clinical and scientific training, including fellowships and observerships in Beijing and Milan. Dr. Bilski’s clinical and academic work focuses on interventional radiotherapy (brachytherapy), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), reirradiation, oligometastatic disease, and dose escalation strategies, particularly in genitourinary, gynecologic, lung, liver, skin, and brain malignancies. He is principal investigator of several prospective and multicenter studies, including PRO-BOOST-LC, PRO-BOOST-N. He is active in ESTRO, GEC-ESTRO, EORTC, ISRS, EANO, ASTRO, and Polish oncology societies, and has authored or co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and international presentations.
