Yuan Meng, born in January 1997, is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Oncology at Shandong First Medical University and works at the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Shandong First Medical University (contact: 17865200316). Over the past three years, she has published three first-author papers: a review titled "The Complement System: A Potential Therapeutic Target in Liver Cancer" in Life-Basel (September 2022), an original article "Immunotherapy with radiotherapy fails to improve prognosis of patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer: a retrospective cohort analysis of the THUNDER-2 study" in Translational Lung Cancer Research (November 2022), and another original study "Targeting complement C5a to improve radiotherapy sensitivity in non-small cell lung cancer" in the same journal (May 2023). Her research focuses on tumor immunology and radiotherapy combination strategies, with a particular interest in the complement system as a therapeutic target in solid tumors.
