Min Liu is a medical physics professional in the Physics Engineering Section at Sichuan Cancer Hospital and Research Institute and a PhD candidate with a focus on precision radiation oncology. His clinical work centers on the implementation and quality assurance of MR-guided adaptive radiotherapy using the 1.5 T Elekta Unity MR-Linac. His research focuses on improving dosimetric accuracy and clinical efficiency in MR-guided adaptive radiotherapy, particularly for lung, liver, and rectal cancers. He has investigated synthetic CT dose calculation, structure-specific relative electron density assignment, automatic segmentation of pulmonary substructures, and MR-guided spatially fractionated radiotherapy. Through multidisciplinary collaboration, he has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, patents, and clinical workflow innovations in image-guided precision radiotherapy and patient safety. His current doctoral research examines the physical mechanisms underlying dose errors in MR-guided lung adaptive radiotherapy and develops substructure-guided density modeling and risk-stratified optimization strategies to improve the accuracy, safety, and clinical feasibility of lung SBRT.
