Dr. Nadin Badran is a Research Fellow and ex situ liver perfusionist at the Recanati-Miller Transplantation Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Her research focuses on hepatocellular carcinoma, transplant oncology, and the integration of locoregional and radiation-based therapies in the management of liver cancer. Her work includes clinical outcomes research in stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), transarterial radioembolization (TARE), and liver transplantation, alongside translational research using normothermic machine perfusion of human livers. She is particularly interested in treatment response, multidisciplinary therapeutic strategies, and improving patient selection and outcomes in hepatocellular carcinoma. Her work presented at ASTRO 2026 evaluates the safety and clinical outcomes of liver SBRT following TARE in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.
