Dr. Neil Mookerjee is a PGY-3 radiation oncology resident at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He has developed broad clinical interests across radiation oncology, with particular interests in genitourinary oncology, brachytherapy, CNS malignancies, radiopharmaceutical therapy, and emerging radiation technologies. He is especially interested in continuing to build his experience in prostate cancer and brachytherapy while developing into a well-rounded radiation oncologist with strong clinical judgment, technical skills, and a broad understanding of the field.
His research interests span several areas of radiation oncology. Current projects include evaluating tumor treating fields exposure and outcomes in glioblastoma, metabolic predictors of hematologic toxicity in patients receiving Pluvicto, and techniques to improve the safety and delivery of prostate cancer radiation therapy. He is particularly interested in clinical research that can directly inform patient care and treatment delivery.
