Nicholas Zaorsky, MD, MS
Nicholas G Zaorsky, MD MS is the Vice Chair for Education, Director of Genitourinary Oncology of East Cleveland, Medical Student Clerkship Director, and the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Promotion and Tenure in the Department of Radiation Oncology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He is a Tenured Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is a board-certified, independently-funded, clinical investigator, with international expertise in the management of genitourinary cancers, skin cancer, and metastases. Dr Zaorsky attended Temple University School of Medicine for his medical training, did a clinical research fellowship in radiation oncology at Thomas Jefferson University, and completed his residency in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. He has published several international guidelines for the management of genitourinary cancers and provides educational resources for radiation oncology and academic medicine: bit.ly/ZaorskyEducation. He developed a large clinical research group with over $1.5M of funding from the American Cancer Society, Department of Defense, and National Institutes of Health. He has authored over 200 peer reviewed articles and two text books, and serves as an editor for multiple journals.
