Abraham Akerele is a dual MD/MPH student at Tulane University School of Medicine. Prior to medical school, he served as a research technician at Baylor College of Medicine, contributing to CAR-T and genomic sequencing research. He also has experience in ctDNA utility in for cancer medicine, with research spanning prostate and gynecologic malignancies as well as radiopharmaceutical therapies. At Tulane, he received an Award of Excellence from the Student Clinic Council for his clinical service to the New Orleans community. His career interests lie at the intersection of precision oncology, radioimmunotherapy, radiopharmaceuticals, patient education, and cancer disparities.
