Peng Ding, MMed
Jiangxi Provincial Cancer Hospital, Nanchang, China
Peng Ding earned his Master of Medicine in Oncology from Jiangxi Medical College, Nanchang University. He is finishing radiation oncology residency training at Jiangxi Provincial Cancer Hospital, with research focused on precise radiotherapy, recurrence mechanisms and tumor immunity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).He has taken part in multiple NPC clinical studies exploring peripheral blood immune biomarkers, target volume optimization and recurrence patterns of locally advanced NPC. His work verified post-induction chemotherapy tumor residues as the main cause of local recurrence and developed adjusted target plans to reduce radiation temporal lobe injury.Trained at the State Key Laboratory of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma, he masters cell function assays, molecular tests and animal model construction. His basic research targets m6A reader YTHDF3 and confirms its function in promoting NPC cell proliferation and tumor formation in vivo.Combining clinical practice and basic research, he intends to build bioinformatics and radiomics prediction models to clarify NPC recurrence mechanisms and advance individualized radiotherapy.
