Qing Li, MD, PhD, is a radiation oncology resident at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. She received her medical degree from Qingdao University Medical College and completed a PhD in Experimental Medicine at McGill University, where her research focused on tumor biology, biomarkers, and cancer metabolism. She subsequently trained as a postdoctoral fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center under the mentorship of Dr. Sarat Chandarlapaty, publishing first-author papers in Cancer Cell, Cancer Discovery, and Journal of Clinical Investigation on mechanisms of therapy resistance in breast cancer.
Dr. Li’s current research explores integrating radiation therapy with targeted therapies, particularly HER2 antibody-drug conjugates, to improve outcomes for patients with HER2-low and brain metastatic breast cancer. She is also involved in a clinical trial STARLiT: A Single Arm Phase I/II Trial of STereotActic Body Radiotherapy and 177Lutetium PSMA in Locally Advanced Prostate Cancer.
