Dr. Newman is an attending physician, Assistant Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine at UTHealth Houston and Associate Program Director for the residency program in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Her clinical practice spans the breadth of high-risk pregnancies and prenatal ultrasound. In partnership with the Pregnancy Team at MD Anderson, she focuses on managing the obstetric care of patients who have cancer in pregnancy. She is currently a member of the Anemia Task Force for the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative and the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine’s Conflict of Interest Committee.
