Dr. Rishi P. Nair is a Clinical Oncologist and Senior Resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology at AIIMS Jodhpur, India. He completed his MBBS from AIIMS Bhopal and the six-year DM program in Radiotherapy and Oncology at AIIMS Jodhpur, which provides comprehensive training in radiation oncology, systemic therapy, and palliative care. He is also a Fellow in Palliative Care from the Institute of Palliative Medicine, Calicut, and a UICC Fellow at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne, Australia, where he received advanced training in stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SBRT).
His clinical and research interests include breast cancer, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), SBRT, cardio-oncology, brachytherapy, head and neck oncology, and palliative care. He has received several national and international recognitions, including the UICC Technical Fellowship and presentation awards at AROICON and the National Lung Cancer Conference. Dr Nair has presented research at ASCO and ESMO Asia, as well as at multiple national conferences, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in radiation oncology, breast cancer, head and neck cancer, and cardio-oncology. He currently serves as the Principal Investigator of the NeoORB clinical trial evaluating the optimal sequencing of neoadjuvant radiotherapy in breast cancer and is actively involved in translational and clinical research focused on improving precision radiotherapy and patient outcomes.
