Roberta Anderson, DNP, RN-BC, OCN, is the Clinical Program Director for the Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Sciences at Johns Hopkins. She provides strategic leadership for nursing practice and radiation oncology programs across all departmental sites, including The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Sibley Memorial Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Suburban Hospital, and Greenspring Station. In this role, she partners closely with quality, safety, and interdisciplinary teams to advance clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
With nearly 30 years of nursing experience, Roberta's career has encompassed inpatient psychiatric care, emergency department nursing, hospital operations, nursing practice, Joint Commission standards, and institutional policy development. Together with the exceptional multidisciplinary teams she works alongside, she has helped lead the development and implementation of innovative, patient-centered radiation oncology initiatives, including radiopharmaceutical safety programs. She has also authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and conference abstracts that contribute to advancing the field of radiation oncology.
Roberta earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and has served as a clinical instructor at both the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and the University of Maryland School of Nursing.
