Ronald D. Ennis, MD, FASTRO
I am Professor and Vice Chairman, Director of Network Integration and Quality for the Department of Radiation Oncology, Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. In this role I work to create an integrated department across the Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health-Rutgers CINJ system which comprises 11 radiation oncology departments.
My research and writing focus on health policy issues, scope of practice in radiation oncology, radiopharmaceuticals, psychological factors impacting on patient care, unplanned hospital admissions, statistics in oncology, prostate cancer and I write poetry.
My practice is devoted to the care of patients with genitourinary and gynecologic cancer.
I have previously served on the Board of Directors of ASTRO, serving as Vice Chair and then Chair of the Government Relations Council.
I have served on the Advisory Council for the Medical Use of isotope for the Unites States Nuclear Regulatory Commission since 2015.
