I currently serve as an Assistant Professor (Traditional Track) within the Department of Therapeutic Radiology at the Yale School of Medicine. Clinically, I am a radiation oncologist whose clinical practice is devoted to patients diagnosed with thoracic malignancies and malignancies of the central nervous system.


My scientific interest centers upon modeling clinical oncology data. Specifically, my lab is interested in leveraging machine learning techniques to personalize cancer treatment strategies. Specifically we have an interest in diagnostic imaging analysis, natural language processing, and high dimensional data analysis. My research lab has been fortunate to have received funding AHRQ, ASCO, the NSF, the ACS, IBM, the RSNA.


I received a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University and attended medical school at Yale. Prior to my radiation oncology residency at Yale, I completed a research fellowship in high-dimensional data analysis within the Department of Health and Human Services. During my residency at Yale, I completed a research fellowship in machine learning at the Yale Center for Outcomes Research.


On a university level, I serve as the co-instructor for the "Medical Software Design & Data Analysis" undergraduate courses at Yale University.


On a national level, I continue to promote digital health and data science efforts within oncology having led NCI sponsored workshops and working groups. I currently serve as the co-lead for the NRG Digital Health Working Group, Digital Health and Informatics Scientific Committee ASTRO, and on the technical review group for the ASCO mCODE initiative.
