Dr Sapna Nangia is Director, Head Neck and Breast, Senior Consultant, Radiation Oncology at the Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, Chennai. She leads the Head Neck, Skull Base and Breast Proton Therapy programs at India’s first Proton Therapy facility. Her current work focuses on mucosal-sparing radiotherapy for head and neck cancers and cardiac-sparing radiotherapy for breast cancer. She holds a patent for a device that aids manually gated breath-hold in low-resource settings.
