Dr. Bergholtz is a resident completing her intern year in Livonia, Michigan, and will complete her radiation oncology residency at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on patient education and communication tools to improve decision-making. During her MPH and medical school, she helped create a pathology clinic to discuss results and diagnoses with prostate cancer patients. She also studied patient-centered pathology reports, finding that less than half of participants could identify reports with prostate cancer diagnoses. She hopes to continue creating patient education tools throughout her career, treating GU, GYN, and breast cancers.
