Dr. Sarah Han-Oh is Assistant Professor and Vice Chief of Medical Physics Division in the Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHM), and certified physicist in therapeutic medical physics by the American Board of Radiology. She received her Ph.D. degree in Medical Physics from George Washington University in 2010 and completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, in Bethesda, Maryland before joining Johns Hopkins Medicine in 2012. As Vice Chief of Medical Physics Division, Dr. Han-Oh oversees clinical medical physics operations across three hospital sites in the Baltimore region and actively contributes to clinical medical physics services. Her research focuses on the development, translation, and evaluation of novel technologies to improve clinical care in radiotherapy, with an emphasis on patient safety and quality. She is also actively involved in professional societies, serving on various committees dedicated to advancing safety and quality in radiotherapy.
