Saskia Cooke, MD

Saskia Cooke is a PhD candidate at the department of Radiation Oncology and
at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital) under the supervision of Prof. Jan-Jakob Sonke and Dr. Jose Belderbos.
Saskia obtained her Medical Degree from the Free University Amsterdam.
The focus of her PhD research is the effect of dose-escalated radiotherapy on local tumour control,
acute and late toxicity, health-related quality of life, and strategies which may be used to safely apply higher dose
in locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer patients.
