Dr. Gandhi is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center where he specializes in treatment of Thoracic malignancies.
He completed his undergraduate and master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He then moved to New York for his MD/PhD at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine followed by residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. In 2016, he was recruited to MD Anderson, where his research interests have focused on oligometastatic lung cancer and ways to combine immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and radio enhancers with radiation.
