Shelby Watts is a third-year medical student at the University of Kansas Medical Center with plans to pursue a career in Radiation Oncology. Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Kansas State University.

During medical school, Shelby has developed an interest in cancer care delivery and survivorship, with a particular focus on how radiation therapy can enhance outcomes and quality of life for patients. She is eager to continue building her clinical and research experience as she prepares for residency training in Radiation Oncology.

Outside of medicine, Shelby enjoys reading, tackling Sudoku puzzles, and spending time outdoors. These hobbies give her balance and perspective, fueling her commitment to patient-centered care and lifelong learning.
