CERTIFICATION: DABR in Therapeutic Medical Physics, Authorized for Gamma Knife SRS and HDR/LDR brachytherapy.
CLINICAL EXPERIENCES: Experienced with almost all of physics services and managements, familiar with popular treatment planning systems, QA devices/software and Linear accelerators. performed routine planning and physics support and consults for brachytherapy, SBRT/SRS and hyperthermia.
TEACHING EXPERIENCES: Clinical Training/supervising of medical physics graduate students Teaching of Medical Physics, Dosimetry and planning for Radiation oncology residents, Medical Image Physics for Radiology residents, Radiation Safety and Regulation for radiation workers involving radiotherapy and radiosurgery on behalf of RSO.
MAIN RESEARCH INTERESTS: (1) Radiobiological Modeling for optimal radiotherapy and combination therapy, (2) Imaging techniques and analytical solution for target definition and refixation in radiotherapy,(3) Tools for external and brachytherapy treatment planning optimization and evaluation and (4) simplification for efficient and accurate imaging registration, machine QA and patient plan checking.
