Shlok S. Mohanty, MD is a transitional year intern at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX, and an incoming Radiation Oncology resident at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles. He earned his MD from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and a BS in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. His training and research span cancer immunotherapy, oncologic outcomes, and imaging-based approaches to tumor characterization, with a focus on rare malignancies. He has contributed to research efforts at MD Anderson Cancer Center and has been involved in medical education and innovation initiatives throughout training. He is particularly interested in integrating clinical decision-making with outcomes-driven research to better characterize and manage uncommon and aggressive malignancies.
