Shri Kiriti S. Rajan, MD, is a radiation oncology resident at the University of Iowa Health Care, with a passion for personalized radiotherapy and an anticipated graduation in 2026. She focuses on leveraging biomarker or imaging responses to tailor cancer treatment and monitoring. Her research, conducted at MD Anderson Cancer Center under the mentorship of Dr. Ann Klopp, includes projects on intraoperative MRI-guided brachytherapy and biomarker-driven prognostication in cervical cancer, which will be presented at ASTRO 2025. Dr. Rajan is also committed to improving patient safety and fostering a positive culture of engagement through quality improvement initiatives and resident education.
