Hello! My name is Shuchi Sehgal and I am a current 3rd year medical student with a passion for healthcare infrastructure and translational medical research. An active member in the department of Radiation Oncology at JHMI for the last 5 years, my current work is in pancreatic cancer under Dr. Amol Narang and previous work was in pediatric malignancies under Dr. Stephanie Terezakis. During my undergraduate years while majoring in Public health, I focused on understanding legal and psychosocial barriers to accessing healthcare within metropolitan cities and global HIV transmission, leading me to a term studying maternal HIV in rural Uganda. My current clinical interests include hypo fractionated radiation, neoadjuvant chemoadiation, somatic mutations and immunotherapy. I aspire to be a professor and physician scientist in Radiation Oncology!
