Dr Siddhartha Laskar serves as a Dy. Director of Academics & Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai, India. His areas of expertise involve Hematolymphoid, Pediatric and Bone/ Soft Tissue malignancies with special interest & expertise in the use of Interstitial Brachytherapy, High Precision & Magna Field Radiation Therapy. He is a steering committee member of the International Lymphoma Radiation Oncology Group (ILROG) and an active member of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP) and has been involved in development of national & global clinical practice guidelines. Dr Laskar is also an active member of the International Society of Pediatric Radiation Oncology (PROS) and has served as an executive committee member for the same. He has been the chairman of the sarcoma group of the Indian Pediatric Oncology Group (InPOG) & is interested and involved in educational programs related to training in hematolymphoid, paediatric & bone/ soft tissue malignancies & treatment optimisation in resource constrained environments. Dr Laskar has served as member secretary of the TMH Institutional Ethics Committee & has been part of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) task force for development of guidelines for clinical research. He serves as an expert faculty for international bodies like the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) & European Society for Therapeutic Radiotherapy/Oncology (ESTRO). Dr Laskar also leads the National Hadron BeamTherapy Facility at TMH, Mumbai. He has more than 150 publications in peer-reviewed national & international journals.
