Dr. Simon Lo is Professor of Radiation Oncology and Neurological Surgery, Vice Chair for Strategic Planning for Radiation Oncology, and Director of SBRT at University of Washington. He has published 220 full peer reviewed papers and has edited 4 comprehensive textbooks in SRS/ SBRT and two other radiation oncology textbooks. He has led the SBRT programs in 3 NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers. Dr. Lo is a member of the Board of Directors of Radiosurgery Society and one of the co-founders of the International Radiosurgery Oncology Consortium for Kidney (IROCK). He has published the first trial of SBRT for primary renal cell carcinoma in North America as co-first author in 2015. He was awarded Lifetime Achievement Award by The Society for Palliative Radiation Oncology in 2019 and is a Fellow of ACR and ASTRO. Dr. Lo is currently the President of CARROS (Radiation Oncology Chapter) of ACR and is a member of the ABR CNS/ pediatrics oral boards committee.

Dr. Lo is a Member of the Board of Directors and the Medical Director of the Distinction in Practice of Stereotactic Radiotherapy Accreditation Program of Radiosurgery Society and one of the co-founders of the International Radiosurgery Oncology Consortium for Kidney (IROCK). He was awarded Lifetime Achievement Award by The Society for Palliative Radiation Oncology in 2019 and is a Fellow of ACR and ASTRO. Dr. Lo is currently the Immediate Past President of CARROS (Radiation Oncology Chapter) of ACR and is a member of the ABR CNS/ pediatrics oral boards committee. Dr. Lo has led or contributed in numerous practice guidelines in the field of brain tumors, spine metastases, bone metastases, oligometastases, and stereotactic body radiotherapy for various disease sites. He has been named Top Doctors by Cleveland Magazine and Seattle Magazine.
