I hold the position of Clinical Radiation Oncologist and serve as the Program Director for the Radiation Oncology Fellowship within the Division of Radiation Oncology at the Uganda Cancer Institute. I have played a pivotal role in spearheading the transition from conventional 2-D radiotherapy to advanced techniques such as 3-D conformal radiotherapy, Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), and Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) in Uganda. This transformative shift has not only significantly broadened treatment options but has also raised the standard of radiotherapy services and training accessible to Radiation Oncologists in Uganda.
