Soziema Dauda is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. A Nashville native, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Belmont University. Her research at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital under the mentorship of Dr. Thomas Merchant focuses on radiation-associated vasculopathy in pediatric patients with craniopharyngioma treated with photon radiotherapy. She is pursuing a career in radiation oncology with research interests in improving treatment outcomes and reducing radiation-related toxicities.
