Sue Yom, MD, PhD, FASTRO

Dr. Sue S. Yom, MD, PhD, MAS, FASTRO, FACR, FAAWR is the Vice Chair of Strategic Advisory and Irwin Mark Jacobs and Joan Klein Jacobs Distinguished Professor in Head and Neck Cancer Radiation Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco. She is the Director of the Head and Neck, Cutaneous, and Thoracic Radiation Oncology Services and Co-Chair of the Oral, Head and Neck cancer research program in the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of California, San Francisco. She is the Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics and the Committee Chair of the NRG Oncology Head and Neck Cancer Committee. She is Co Chair of the Guidelines and Protocols Committee and a Board Member of the Head and Neck Cancer International Group. She is a Board Member of the RTOG Foundation and the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance. She is a Past President of the American Radium Society and the founding Chair of the ARS Appropriate Use Criteria Committees. She is an Oral and Written Examiner for the American Board of Radiology. She serves on numerous ASTRO committees and program committees and is the current Co Chair of the Spring Refresher course.
