Dr. Surendra Kumar Saini is a board-certified Radiation Oncologist and Associate Professor at AIIMS, New Delhi. He is a Fellow of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (FESTRO) with extensive expertise in brachytherapy, breast cancer, gynecological cancers, and advanced radiotherapy techniques. His clinical practice and research focus on image-guided brachytherapy, accelerated partial breast irradiation (APBI), ultra-hypofractionated breast radiotherapy, and innovative treatment approaches for cervical cancer.
Dr. Saini has received several prestigious international fellowships and training awards, including those from UICC, ESTRO, and ICMR-DHR, and has trained at leading oncology centers across Europe and North America. He currently serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Cancer Research and Therapeutics and is actively involved in clinical trial development, translational oncology, and artificial intelligence applications in cancer care.
His research has contributed to advancing evidence-based brachytherapy, breast cancer radiotherapy, and predictive oncology. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and invited presentations at national and international scientific meetings, with a continued commitment to improving cancer outcomes through innovation, education, and collaborative research.
