Udbhav S. Ram is a PhD student in Medical Physics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His research focuses on artificial intelligence applications in radiation oncology, including image segmentation, vision-language models, treatment planning, and image-guided radiotherapy. Prior to beginning his PhD, he completed his undergraduate studies in Medical and Health Physics at McMaster University and was a visiting scholar in the Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Udbhav’s work has been presented at national meetings and has been recognized with the Best Undergraduate Poster Presentation and a Blue Ribbon Poster Award at the American Association of Physicists in Medicine Annual Meeting. He is passionate about advancing AI-driven technologies to improve the precision, efficiency, and accessibility of cancer care.
