Dr. Vikas Kumar Pandey is an Advanced Radiation Oncology Fellow at CancerCare Manitoba and a Clinical Fellowship Representative on the University of Manitoba PGME Fellowship Committee. He also serves as Associate Editor of Contemporary Updates: Radiotherapy Innovation & Evidence (CURiE), the official publication of the American College of Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Pandey completed his medical training at SDM College of Medical Sciences and Hospital and his radiation oncology residency at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. Before moving to Canada, he progressed from Senior Resident to Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Manipal Hospital Dwarka, New Delhi. His clinical and research interests include advanced radiotherapy, sustainability in radiation oncology, and emerging technologies in cancer care. His academic work includes peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and he received first prize for a three-minute research talk at CancerCare Manitoba Research Day in 2026.
Outside radiation oncology, he is a proud husband and father, an avid soccer player, traveller, and a moderator for ROVER.
