Wenbin Shen, MD, Chief Physician and Professor, has been working in the Department of Radiation Oncology, the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University, since 2006, focusing on the basic research and clinical application of radiotherapy and multidisciplinary cancer treatment. Became a Master's supervisor in 2020 and has supervised or co-supervised multiple master's and doctoral students. Independently trained two master's students and is currently supervising two master's candidates.
Completed advanced training in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Peking University Cancer Hospital from February to August 2016. Possesses extensive clinical experience in the multidisciplinary management, individualized treatment, and diagnosis and treatment of complex malignant tumors.
Actively follows the latest developments in oncology research and remains engaged with cutting-edge advances in the field. Has undertaken several provincial- and ministerial-level research projects with total research funding exceeding RMB 500,000. Published multiple high-quality SCI-indexed papers and received the First Prize and Third Prize of the Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
Currently serves as Chair of the Esophageal Cancer Committee, Oncology Rehabilitation Branch, Chinese Geriatrics and Gerontology Society, and holds several other academic positions in national and international professional organizations.
