Dr. Chung is a Professor and Department Head in Radiation Oncology, KHUH at Gangdong, and also a CEO in READYCURE Inc. He has been performing radiation-based cancer treatment for over 30 years at university hospitals, and has been particularly dedicated to research on low-dose radiotherapy (LDRT) for dementia, covering both nonclinical and clinical studies, since 8 years ago. Prior to joining the faculty at KHUH, he worked as a research fellow in Duke University College of Medicine (USA) and as the Director of CyberKnife Center in Radiation Oncology, Konyang University (Korea). Notably, he was the Director of the world's first multicenter randomized controlled clinical trial on the efficacy and safety of LDRT in early-stage Alzheimer’s disease (AD) patients, which recently completed. In addition, he founded READYCURE Inc. 3 years ago and are currently developing LDRT devices for AD treatment.
