Dr. Xu is a medical physics resident at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital. He holds a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Science and Technology of China and conducted postdoctoral research in quantitative optical tomography guided radiotherapy at Johns Hopkins Hospital and UT Southwestern Medical Center. His research interest spans quantum physics, biology- and functional imaging-guided radiotherapy, adaptive proton therapy, and spot-scanning proton arc therapy.
