Xuguang Chen, MD, PhD

Dr. Xuguang (Scott) Chen is a PGY5 resident of radiation oncology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Chen obtained his MD and PhD degrees and completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He has authored several primary studies and review articles on spine stereotactic body radiotherapy, and the applications of radiomics and machine learning in evaluating late radiation toxicities. Dr. Chens long-term career goals are to provide compassionate and evidence-based oncologic care guided by the most up-to-date research, and to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence in clinical practice and research.
