Dr. Yajie Sun, MD, is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Sun’s research is primarily dedicated to the cross-disciplinary field of radiation and immunotherapy. Her work focuses on investigating radiation-induced alterations in the tumor immune microenvironment, exploring the synergistic mechanisms of radiotherapy combined with immune checkpoint inhibitors, and identifying potential therapeutic targets to overcome radioresistance. Dr. Sun’s ongoing investigations aim to optimize radio-immunotherapy combinations and advance translational outcomes for cancer treatment.
