Prof. Xu Yaping is a renowned expert in radiation oncology, specializing in stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for early-stage NSCLC, multidisciplinary treatments for locally advanced NSCLC (Stage III), radiotherapy for advanced brain metastases, and the prevention and management of radiation-associated pneumonia. Her work is at the forefront of these fields in China. She has led over ten significant research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has directed more than thirty clinical trials. She holds three national patents and has authored or co-authored eight books, six clinical guidelines, and over 100 academic papers, including fifty indexed in SCI. A regular presenter at major international conferences (WCLC, ASTRO, ASCO), Prof. Xu is an active member of several academic committees, such as the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology and the Chinese Anti-Cancer Society. Her contributions have significantly advanced lung cancer treatment, fostered interdisciplinary exchange, and enhanced the efficacy of radiation therapy for tumors.
