Yi-Chun Liu, MD, is an attending radiation oncologist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Taichung Veterans General Hospital. She is board-certified in radiation oncology and head and neck oncology in Taiwan and serves as a principal investigator for multiple clinical trials. Her clinical practice focuses on the multidisciplinary treatment of head and neck cancers, particularly nasopharyngeal carcinoma, as well as sinonasal malignancies and soft-tissue sarcomas. Dr. Liu earned her medical degree from the School of Medicine at Chang Gung University and is currently a PhD candidate at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. Throughout her career at Taichung Veterans General Hospital, she has integrated contemporary radiotherapy, systemic therapy, and clinical research in the care of patients with complex malignancies. Her research focuses on treatment outcomes, prognostic factors, response-adapted strategies, and multidisciplinary management in head and neck cancer, with particular emphasis on nasopharyngeal carcinoma. She has authored and collaborated on peer-reviewed publications and clinical studies investigating therapeutic strategies, biomarkers, and clinical outcomes in these diseases.
