Yu Wang is currently working toward the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Radiation Oncology with the Department of Radiation Oncology, National Cancer Center/National Clinical Research Center for Cancer/Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Science and Peking Union Medical College, Beijing, China. She received the Bachelor of Medicine (B.M.) degree in Clinical Medicine from West China Medical College, Sichuan University in 2020. She accomplished the Science Programme from Hertford College, University of Oxford, UK in 2018, and the Student Exchange Programme from Anglo-Chinese Junior College, Singapore in 2013.
Her research interests include radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and combination treatments in lung cancer, especially locally advanced non-small-cell lung cancer. She has published many studies in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics. She dedicates to promoting high-quality clinical trials and translational research, such as exploring novel biomarkers for radiation therapy, and continues to provide individualized cancer care for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also advocates the diverse and innovative development of young oncologists worldwide and focuses on facilitating the progress of precision radiation therapy.
