Yuming Jiang, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and a faculty member of the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center. His research focuses on artificial intelligence for precision oncology, with an emphasis on medical imaging, computational pathology, and multimodal deep learning. His work integrates radiologic imaging, digital pathology, clinical data, and molecular biomarkers to improve cancer diagnosis, prognosis, treatment response prediction, and personalized treatment. His research spans multiple cancer types, including gastric cancer, lung cancer, brain metastases, esophageal cancer, and breast cancer. Dr. Jiang is the principal investigator of multiple NIH-funded research projects focused on developing and translating multimodal AI approaches for precision cancer care.
